Suggestions / Tips for Phoenix Film Festival?

Sun City isnt exactly close to the film festival....Sun City is an "adult community" probably 90% seniors.....so probably not much around there to do.....however near the film festival in scottsdale there is plenty to do.....desert ridge is near by as is Kierland, both are shopping centers with nice bars/restaurants and shopping....as far as getting around...you'll need a car....public transportation is not good at all here
